GREETINGS and welcome to my blog! I'd say that for someone who's supposedly a student of social media I'm very meticulous about what I write mainly because I don't find what I do that interesting so coming out with kontent content that is worth reading will be scarce (but hopefully in time it will change).
I bought my first digital SLR camera back in 2005 over at Henry’s Outlet Store (before they closed the downtown location), it was a used Canon Digital Rebel (EOS 300D) with battery grip – although it was the lower end model for the Canon family it was the only one I can afford and needless to say I was ecstatic. Back then photography was on a major upswing since digital cameras came out and even at a low 6.3 megapixels it was good enough for me to shoot and practice the eye.
One of my favourite spots to shoot, and this should be to any hobbyists’ list of places, is the Distillery District. I was taking a Photoshop class at Pikto back then and had time to shoot after the class; the lighting in this whole place is great for discovering how to play with available light. Here’s what I got:
If you got great shots of the Distillery then link me a sample, I’d like to see what you’ve come up with. Also, what was your first digital SLR?
